94pointsBrooks 2017 Hope Well Vineyard Riesling (Eola-Amity Hills)

Editors' Choice

Dry, tart and tasty, this fruit is from a Casteel family vineyard. The dense, detailed palate mixes citrus flesh and rind, grapefruit and stone, and trailing suggestions of tangerine and even pineapple. It's a lovely bottle, delicious now but certainly ageworthy, as are almost all of Brooks' acid-driven Rieslings. Paul Gregutt
