This enticing wine has aromas of black cherries, rose petals and black tea followed by blackberry, rhubarb, clove and cedar flavors that mingle on the palate. A very firm texture of moderate tannins and good fruit acidity keeps it lively in terms of mouthfeel, and the concentration carries through a lingering finish. Best now–2025. Jim Gordon
