Brophy Clark 2013 G-S-M (Santa Ynez Valley)

Ripe blackberry, smoked pork and black sage aromas show on the nose of this blend of 51% Grenache, 45% Syrah and 4% Mourvèdre. There is lots of energy on the sip, with lighter olallieberry flavors mixing with savory teriyaki, black peppercorn and Sichuan pepper spice. Matt Kettmann
