Brotte 2003 Domaine Bouvencourt Red (Vacqueyras)

A nice, easy-drinking Côtes-du-Rhône, with dark plum and blackberry aromas and flavors and hints of smoke and anise. It's neither too big nor too light--if Goldilocks were a wine-drinker, she'd say the weight on the palate is just right. Joe Czerwinski
