The subtlest hint of oak plays on the nose and boosts all the ripe fruit flavors with a soft creaminess. That creaminess is also evident on the soft, full palate where lemon zest and green pear harmonize with a hazelnutty smokiness. Slender but rounded, this will benefit from a year or two of bottle age.
