Bründlmayer 2016 Pinot Noir (Niederösterreich)

An initial whiff of toasty oak dissipates to reveal finely drawn, pure red fruit. The translucent palate bears this out with tart, red cherry notes edged with pepper, on a slender, juicy, snappy body. A vivid vein of freshness lends sinuous curve and makes this irresistible. Anne Krebiehl MW
