Bründlmayer 2018 Ried Heiligenstein Riesling (Kamptal)

The slightest touch of reduction still casts a notion of yeast on the Mirabelle plum and Mandarin orange nose. The palate brims with Mirabelle fruit but has a lovely, pithy, almost earthy edge of almond bitterness that sets a lovely, enticing and mouthwatering accent amid this abundant and generously juicy fruit. There is something calm and almost serene about the dry finish, with that lovely almond note lasting throughout the long finish. Drink 2025–2045. Anne Krebiehl MW
