Bründlmayer 2019 Ried Heiligenstein Riesling (Kamptal)

#15 Top 100 Cellar Selections 2021
Return to List

The vibes on the nose are faint but pervasive nonetheless in tones of citrus essence and crushed conifer needle. The palate then expands into ripe Mirabelle fruit which we get to see through that citric, conifer prism. This has wonderful depth which for now is dressed in fruit, but the essential stoniness will shine through with age. Drink 2030–2050. Anne Krebiehl MW
