Bryn Mawr Vineyards 2016 Reserve Pinot Noir (Eola-Amity Hills)

A mix of brambly berry and tart cherry fruit, this shows good concentration through the midpalate, then dries out a bit with lightly herbal tannins. Native yeast was used, along with 10% whole clusters in the ferment. Aging in 20% new French oak adds a touch of sweet baking spice as it fades. Paul Gregutt
