Buchegger 2016 Ried Vordernberg Reserve Riesling (Kremstal)

A touch of leesy freshness clings to the lemon notes on the nose of this wine, revealing how very young it still is. The palate has a textured mouthfeel that owes as much to yeast as it does to lemon zestiness. With its great concentration, it still needs time to unfurl the full force of its citrus power. The finish is incisive, long and lemony. Drink 2020–2030. Anne Krebiehl MW
