A 100% varietal wine, this is from the producer's oldest block of grapes, planted in 1971 and completely dry-farmed. It's a soft and substantial red, mildly fruity, with bolder elements of savory leather, tea and tobacco. It is well structured and may show greater complexity in years to come.
