87pointsBulletin Place 2018 Shiraz (South Eastern Australia)

Best Buy

This is a Shiraz so light it could be mistaken for an unoaked Pinot Noir. It's aromatic, leading with red-fruit, plum, spice and mushroom notes. The palate is certainly on the lighter end of the spectrum but it lacks some of the brightness of the nose. Soft tannins and silky, if slightly confected, fruit make this an easygoing drop for drinking young. Christina Pickard
