This Triolet is two thirds Cabernet Sauvignon, 27% Cab Franc and 6% Petit Verdot. Despite two years in French oak barrels, 30% new, it carries a strong herbal note in the nose, that carries all through the palate. Stem, herb and pepper are the dominant flavors, along with tart, compact red berries.
