Fraîche is a blend of Picpoul, Grenache Blanc, Marsanne and Roussanne, in equal proportion, and all from the estimable Boushey vineyard. Its scents are lightly tropical, with a hint of bubble gum; its color is turning slightly tawny, suggesting that it is at or near its drinking peak. The flavors are a ripe, vivid, fruit-driven take on a Rhône-style white blend.
