Buoncristiani 2004 O.P.C. Claret Red (Napa Valley)

Cellar Selection

This is very full-bodied and tannic, with a dusty astringency that's too young to drink now, but it should age well. Balanced and dry, it has an impressively ripe core of cassis, spicy plums and cherry liqueur that should sweeten when those tannins fall out. Best after 2010.
