Byron 2002 Pinot Noir (Santa Maria Valley)

A very pretty wine, with complex notes of root beer, oak, vanilla, brown sugar, cinnamon and smoke. The fruity flavors suggest well-ripened cherries and black plums. Polished and supple, with a long, spicy finish.
