Byron Blatty 2019 Rosé (Los Angeles County)

This rosé, which is mostly Syrah with 5% Grenache, shows loads of ripe watermelon, rose petals and bubblegum on the nose. There's a subtle tension to the sip, though it fades quickly into the midpalate, where light berry, crisp plum and red-apple flavors arise. Matt Kettmann
