Everything fits together beautifully in this “Right Bank-styled” Bordeaux blend, a mix of Cabernet Franc (45%), Merlot (45%) and Petit Verdot (10%) from Red Mountain vineyards. Scents of clove, star anise, cardamom and mushroom wrap around ripe fruits; there is an elegance that belies the high (14.9%) alcohol. Textured and long, it is the most complete and sensuous of the winery's current releases.
