Cakebread 1999 Vine Hill Ranch Cabernet Sauvignon (Napa Valley)

Smells terribly musty and bretty, with barely a whiff of fruit or oak. If you can get past that, you'll find thick, astringent tannins coating blackberry and cherry fruit. Tasted twice, with consistent results.
