89pointsCalcareous 2017 Lily Blanc White (Paso Robles)

Very mellow on the nose at first, this blend of 51% Viognier, 27% Grenache Blanc and 22% Roussanne shows lemon cream, custard, toasted nuts and a slight smoke on the nose. The palate's flavors are broad and welcoming, with white peach, sea salt and then a tinge of lemon rind that makes for a slightly sour finish. Matt Kettmann
