Not a please-everyone style of Pinot—we found that out the hard way in the tasting room. I enjoyed this wine quite a bit: it's tight, sour and leathery, both intense and delicate at the same time. The finish is long and juicy, and the nose shows cherry, earth and tree-bark notes. Another taster found it just too wiry, even thin. If you're tired of Pinots that taste like Shirazes, this is a good place to start. Imported by The Vine Press.
