Earthy and light in color, with oaky sawdust aromas that pick up steam with airing. Very intense, with plum and raisin flavors coming in front of a dry, firmly tannic finish. In fact, the tannins on this wine are as hard as they come for California Pinot, so it's a tough-edged but tasty ride.
