Calera 2006 Ryan Pinot Noir (Mt. Harlan)

Like all Calera's Pinots, Ryan is vintage-driven, and while 2006 was not the best year, Calera has succeeded in crafting a wine of great charm. It doesn't seem like a longterm ager, but pleases now for its dryness, crispness, silky tannins and rich flavors of cherries, black raspberries, currants, cola, mocha and spice.
