Calera 2006 Viognier (Mount Harlan)

Calera's Josh Jensen was one of the first Californians to take Viognier seriously, and his little piece of mountain terroir has repeatedly proven itself for the variety. The '06 isn't his best ever, but it's a rich, savory wine, with mouthwatering acidity and exotic flavors of tropical fruits, peach and apricot jam, figs, dates and honey.
