Menthol, cola and pepper are just some of the deep aromas that work the nose on this heavyweight Merlot (14.5%). The flavors of black currants, plum and oak are good up front but fall off somewhat on the midpalate and finish. Structured, firm and tannic, especially for Chilean Merlot.
