Caliterra 1998 Cabernet Sauvignon (Central Valley)

Grapes from the Rapel, Maipo and Curicó valleys go into this fairly tasty, full-bodied Cab. Tannins and black-fruit spice vie for central billing. Some oak comes forward toward the finish. A thick, crusty red and with a lot of cooked-plum flavors. Michael Schachner
