Not really sure what happened here. The 2004 Caliterra Tribute Malbec was a solid, ripe wine. This one, to the contrary, is decidedly foxy, with tangy fruit and herbal edges. And it's chalky and grabby on the finish, which sort of eliminates Malbec's natural friendliness.
