This starts out with a whiff of earth and compost that transitions to olive, tree bark and herbal berry aromas upon airing. The palate feels good, with midlevel tannic bite and light, woody flavors of mint-infused licorice and berry. As the fruit element leaves the finish, mint, toast and green notes settle in.
