Caliza 2014 Azimuth Red (Paso Robles Willow Creek District)

Cellar Selection

Heavy and rich aromas of black currant and blackberry jam paint a thick picture of depth and ripeness on the nose of this blend of 38% Mourvèdre, 33% Grenache and 29% Syrah. Aromatic purple flowers and lavish dark-fruit tones ride a silky texture on the palate, yet it is still a very young wine. Drink 2019–2029. Matt Kettmann
