Caliza 2018 Grenache (Paso Robles Willow Creek District)

Dark cola spices soak into the steeped berries and cherries on the rich and tantalizing nose of this bottling, which is from the 362 clone with almost half of the wine aged in concrete. Cola is joined by root-beer and Dr Pepper elements on the palate, where the black-cherry flavors are framed in a solidly tannic structure. Matt Kettmann
