Camille Cayran 2017 Red (Rasteau)

Brisk mineral tones juxtapose intensely concentrated black cherry and raspberry in this penetrating blend of 70% Grenache and 30% Syrah sourced from clay-limestone soils. It's a full-bodied, intensely fruity sip but elegant, too, anchored by veins of stony earth and fine, feathery tannins. Unoaked and translucent, it's ready to drink now but should hold through 2027.
