Campbells NV Muscat (Rutherglen)

Smells alcoholic at first, but after a few minutes in the glass the aromas are of charred wood. Feels somewhat rough, or rustic, in the mouth—not the smooth unctuousness that other Oz dessert wines have—with burnt sugar/caramel and stewed fruit flavors. Smooths out on the finish.
