Campo Viejo Gran Reserva is normally an excellent wine, but in 2002 it's good but unspectacular. The nose is solid yet not real precise or alluring, while the flavors of plum, black cherry and cola are about as ripe and appealing as one might expect from a cool, rainy year. A little thin on the finish, but lively as a whole. Drink now. Michael Schachner
