Campo Viejo 2006 Reserva (Rioja)

Roasted and stemmy on the nose, with a brambly background. The palate has a normal, midland mouthfeel and crusty, clipped flavors of baked plum mixed with tomato and herbs. Finishes lightly herbal. Tastes like a mass-production wine. Michael Schachner
