Sangiovese (64%) makes up the heart of this wine, with the rest Syrah (12%), Primitivo (8%), Malbec (7%), Nebbiolo (6%) and Barbera. The aromas bring notes of cedar, herbs, cranberry and cherry. Luxurious-feeling cherry flavors follow. Tart acidity rounds it out. It doesn't all quite stitch together.
