Merlot (35%), Cabernet Franc (29%), and Cabernet Sauvignon (26%) make up the heart of this wine, which is finished off with Malbec. Fresh raspberry and cranberry aromas are sprinkled with soil, mushroom and herb accents. Full-bodied, palate-coating fruit flavors follow. Surprisingly tart acidity—which seems a bit out of place—caps it off. Perhaps some time will reel it in. Sean P. Sullivan
