There's much to enjoy in this unusual blend of Syrah, Merlot, Grenache, Cabernet Franc and Pinot Noir. It generally works, with fruit-focused notes of raspberries and plum accented by barrel spices of clove and toffee. The flavors are tart, tangy and precise, with chewy tannins providing the frame.
