This is a bodacious blend of 58% Viognier, 33% Grenache Blanc and 9% Marsanne made with fruit from Boushey Vineyard. The first aromatic wave features tangerines and hay. Then comes the lemon-gelato and baked Golden Delicious apple aromas. Wet rocks and smoked nuts close the show. A lean mouthfeel and a lightning strike of acidity set the stage for crisp flavors like lemon, lime and saline, along with a fun note of orange circus-peanut marshmallow candies. The wine was aged for six months in a combination of Austrian and French oak, 18% of which a new. Michael Alberty
