Aromas recall nail polish remover, overripe fruit, oak vanilla and coffee. The palate offers black cherry mingled with vanilla, chocolate and sweet oak. However it lacks intensity and persistence and doesn't have an age-worthy structure. It closes on a drying, tannic note before trailing off.
