Carlton Cellars 2013 Roads End Pinot Noir (Oregon)

From a challenging vintage, this wine is quite light, with barely ripe strawberry fruit. It spent 18 months in French oak, and the barrel character dominates. It tastes mostly of mocha and caramel and should be consumed over the next year. Paul Gregutt
