Carmen 1998 Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon (Maipo Valley)

This solid offering hits all the right notes with a cassis and tobacco nose that shows nice depth, a mouthful of blackberry flavors and an attractively smooth, supple mouthfeel. Finishes with a hint of tobacco and easy tannins. Altogether quite impressive, especaially for a wine from such a difficult vintage.
