Carmen 2002 Cabernet Sauvignon (Maipo Valley)

Cherry and berry flavors and aromas tend to get lost amid some heavier green bean and bell pepper characteristics. That herbal, vegetal streak is also prominent on the finish, where licorice and black pepper appear. Despite heft to the body, it's just too green to rate higher. Michael Schachner
