Carmen 2004 Wine Maker's Reserve Chardonnay (Casablanca Valley)

Not so sure about the freshness and lasting power of this 2004 white, but at this point in time it's holding the line. The nose offers oak and roasted nuts, with lemon curd and butterscotch backing things up. Meanwhile, the mouth deals tangy melon and peanut brittle. At its peak now. Michael Schachner
