Carol Shelton 2016 Coquille Blanc White (Paso Robles)

Tightly wound and bright lemon-peel aromas meet with honeysuckle, wet stone, nectarine flesh and a hint of charred wood on this blend of Grenache Blanc, Roussanne, Marsanne and Viognier. There's a flash of sweetness on the palate which then tightens onto tangy lime and grapefruit peels with a touch of peachy warmth. Matt Kettmann
