85pointsCarr 2006 Turner Vineyard Pinot Rosé (Sta. Rita Hills)

This is full-bodied and weighty compared to most of the California rosés in this tasting. If not for the pinkish color, you might think it was a full-fledged Pinot Noir. It has an ample feeling of raspberries and cola, with a scour of tannins. But it's dry and balanced.
