Casa de la Reina 1998 Reserva (Rioja)

Coffee and grilled beef provide a masculine, dark side to the bouquet. Behind it, there's nice berry and plum fruit lifted by ripe, firm tannins. Then it finishes fairly soft, with strawberry, chocolate and vanilla notes. Very nice overall. Imported by Five Star Imports. Michael Schachner
