A blend of 40% Merlot, 40% Cabernet Franc and 20% Cabernet Sauvignon, this Bordeaux-style red is rich but not overpowering, with aromas and flavors of cedar, toast, tobacco and red berry. Tannins are gentle and the finish lingering. Not much flavor unfolding but still a good effort that will pair nicely with red meat and roasted chicken.
