Casa Silva 2018 Carmenère (Colchagua Valley)

Savory, gamy black-fruit aromas are a touch green and herbal, but that's normal for the variety and this winery. A plump, round palate is fruity and soft, while this tastes of spicy oak and pepper on top of a mellow black-fruit base. Campfire and toast accents are strong on a finish where the fruit is low on intensity. Michael Schachner
