Casa Smith 2015 Cervo Northridge Vineyard Barbera (Wahluke Slope)

Editors' Choice

The aromas leap up out of the glass, with exquisite notes of plum, spice and cherry cream. On the palate, it's rich with soft fruit flavors, showing ripeness but still maintaining its balance, with the neutral oak aging bringing an aching sense of purity. Candied-cherry notes linger on the finish. It's a whole lot of wine for the money, with a big yum factor. Sean P. Sullivan
