A nice hue entices you, and the nose is meaty, tight and well oaked. With solid blackberry, dark cherry and chocolate flavors, this old-vines wine delivers the goods and manages to stay on course from start to finish. Almost everything about the wine is solid and commendable, even if it doesn't have the chops of something from the top echelon.
